I am SO ready for winter to be over! Just when it seems as if it can't possibly get any colder, it does. Snow continues to cover the ground here in Greeley and because of the frigid temps, I don't foresee a melt off any time soon. I can't wait for Spring!
While winter may have me down, baseball begins spring training in February and the Red Sox's pursuit of a World Series will begin again. I just purchased opening day Rockies tickets and Brayden and I are counting the days until we can return to the ball park. I've decided to make this a tradition with the boys (Andrew will start next year) and this year will mark our 3rd opening day together. I love going to the ballpark and I especially enjoy taking Brayden (and Andrew soon). It's neat that Brayden is becoming just as exited as I am to attend the game. Ahhhh....just thinking about baseball warms me up!

I can't wait for the spring weather to return. Just when you think it will be nice again, another cold front rolls in and it is in the 30's again. I know I should not complain since most of you are below freezing all the time!! But, when the day temps hit 61 and then the next day the high is 45!! Yikes, what's a girl to wear each day.
That is such a neat tradition to start with your boys. That will be something they will remember forever. What a great Dad you are. Oh, and you think you are cold. We have not hit above 10 since about last Tuesday.
Yeah, we were rockin the single digits here in Utah for three days straight. I can't stand the cold. And our road never gets plowed so I can barely make it up the hill we live on. Yesterday I had to drive down to the bottom of the hill to get momentum to make it to the top of the hill but then I got stuck in a huge snow pile and it took 8 full grown men to get me out on my way back up the hill...arggg!
I love starting traditions. It really gives you something to think about and look forward to, especially in these cold, dark winter months. We look forward to seeing pictures of opening day this year!
I love going to baseball games. I was so sad that the Mariners were away when I was in Seattle in July.
I too am dreaming of when we can go to parks again and not wear hats, scarves, gloves, huge coats and so on, whenever we go outside.
